These terms apply to your use of biztiendita.com (the “site”), run by Biz Tiendita (“we”). By using the site or submitting a listing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. The directory
Biz Tiendita is a free directory of Colorado small businesses. Listing is free, and no business can pay to rank higher. We may change, pause or stop any part of the site at any time.
2. Submitting a listing
- You may submit a business you own or are allowed to represent. Customers may suggest a business, but the owner can ask us to change or remove it at any time.
- The information you submit must be accurate and must not be misleading, unlawful or offensive.
- You must own the photos you upload or have permission to use them.
- You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a free, non-exclusive permission to display, resize and publish it on the site, in our newsletter and in posts that promote the listing, for as long as the listing is up.
3. Review and removal
We review every submission before it goes live. We may edit listings for clarity or format, and we may decline or remove any listing, for example if it is inaccurate, outside Colorado, not a small business, or breaks these terms. A Verified badge means we checked the business’s registration with the Colorado Secretary of State and confirmed details with the owner at that time. It is not an endorsement.
Listings marked “Example” and photos marked as illustrative are not real businesses. They show how the directory works.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or download listings in bulk, or collect owners’ contact details;
- use information from the site to send spam or unsolicited marketing;
- submit fake listings, impersonate someone, or post reviews or content you were paid to write without saying so;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the site.
5. Community impact data
You may share and reuse the totals on our Community Impact page and its downloads, with credit to “Biz Tiendita.” The totals cover only businesses listed in the directory, and estimated jobs are approximate. They are not a census of Colorado businesses.
6. Resources and other websites
The Resource Hub links to programs run by other organizations. Programs, deadlines and amounts change, so confirm details with the provider. We are not responsible for other websites, and a link does not mean we are partners unless we say so.
7. No warranties
The site is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that listings are complete, current or error-free. Any purchase, service or agreement is between you and the business.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Biz Tiendita is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss that comes from your dealings with a listed business or your use of the site.

10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
